This is a colourful comedy about Shrek, an isolated ogre who is forced to go on a Quest by the evil Lord Farquaad. All Shrek wants is to get his beloved swamp home back, but before Lord Farquaad will grant him this, Shrek must rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona from the castle where she is imprisoned.
The characters are full of life, the music is excellent, and the story is funny and touching. It is a wonderful film, and will appeal to all the family.
